Terms of Service

1. Service Description

SaveSpot provides an AI-powered customer service concierge platform designed for restaurants and hospitality businesses. The service includes automated chat responses, booking management, menu information, customer preference tracking, and related features accessible via web dashboard, embedded chat widget, and messaging integrations.

2. Account Terms

• One account is permitted per business location. Multi-location businesses may operate separate accounts per location.
• The account administrator is responsible for all activity under the account, including content provided to the AI and actions taken through the platform.
• You must provide accurate and complete business information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to bind your business to these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SaveSpot to:

• Upload, transmit, or store any illegal, harmful, or objectionable content.
• Send unsolicited messages (spam) to customers through the platform.
• Attempt to abuse, manipulate, or exploit the AI system for purposes other than legitimate customer service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

4. AI Disclaimer

SaveSpot uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and assist with customer interactions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. The business owner is ultimately responsible for reviewing AI-generated content and ensuring the accuracy of information provided to customers, including menu items, prices, availability, and policies. SaveSpot does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any AI-generated response.

5. Billing & Payments

• SaveSpot operates on a subscription basis with monthly or annual billing cycles.
• Invoices are issued through the Greek tax authority (MyDATA / AADE) and settled via bank transfer. We do not store payment card details.
• Prices are listed in EUR and are exclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a pro-rata refund within the first 14 days.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscriptions are honored until renewal.

6. Service Level

We target 99.5% uptime for the SaveSpot platform, measured on a monthly basis. This is a target, not a guarantee. Scheduled maintenance windows are excluded from uptime calculations and will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party service outages, network issues, or force majeure events.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the platform (menus, business information, branding). We retain ownership of the SaveSpot platform, software, AI models, and all related intellectual property. You grant us a limited license to use your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaveSpot's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, lost bookings, or business interruption.

9. Termination

• Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice.
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.
• Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

10. Modifications

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
